The Rowan-Virtua Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (GSBS) is located on Rowan University's Stratford, NJ campus. Our mission is to develop scientists who will contribute new knowledge in the biomedical disciplines through creative research and scholarship. Degrees from GSBS lead to careers in clinical and/or lab research, medical professions, or practice in a combination of the research and medical fields.

GSBS offers a doctoral program leading to a Ph.D. in Molecular Cell Biology and Neuroscience. As part of the Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine (RVSOM), students also have an opportunity to pursue a joint DO/PhD program in Molecular Cell Biology and Neuroscience. Master of Science degrees are offered in Anatomical Sciences, Biomedical Science, Histopathology, Molecular Cell Biology and Neuroscience, and Molecular Pathology and Immunology. Certificate programs are also available in Anatomical Sciences and Biomedical Sciences.
