OERs can be textbooks, full courses, lesson plans, videos, text, software, and any other tool, material, or technique that supports access to knowledge.” (Open Access Fact Sheet). With the dramatic rise in textbook costs in recent years, making open educational resources available can mean significant savings for students and support Rowan University’s pillar of Affordability.
