The case study discusses a patient seen at a voluntary psychiatric unit. Patient has been prescribed benzodiazepine and bupropion; she became dependent on the benzodiazepine due to social difficulties that have not been addressed by her prescriber. The study highlights the dependency of benzodiazepine while being offered bupropion (which lowers seizure threshold), which can be deadly if accompanied with benzodiazepine withdrawal
