Poster Abstract

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a neurologic condition characterized by demyelination of motor neuron axons. About a third of MS patients experience tremor, typically postural or intention type. This case study details a patient with a history of Multiple Sclerosis-associated therapy-resistant severe rubral tremor. Reviewed literature demonstrates an increased need for diagnostic tools specific to MS patients with Holmes tremors, as well as further investigation of dopamine-based pharmacologic therapy for such patients.
