Poster Abstract

Anaphylaxis is a severe, life-threatening hypersensitivity reaction that can rapidly progress to cardiovascular collapse and cardiac arrest. Cardiac arrest due to anaphylaxis is uncommon but associated with significant morbidity and mortality. Survivors often face complex critical care courses, including multiorgan dysfunction and challenges in neurologic prognostication following hypoxic-ischemic brain injury.

Case Report: Anaphylaxis-Induced Cardiac Arrest Leading to Multiorgan Failure

Anaphylaxis is a severe, life-threatening hypersensitivity reaction that can rapidly progress to cardiovascular collapse and cardiac arrest.
