Poster Abstract

This brief case report emphasizes injury mechanism and anatomic vulnerability rather than burn management, as treatment of deep partial-thickness burns is well established. The clinical value of this case lies in recognizing molten sugar as a uniquely hazardous thermal agent capable of producing deceptively deep injury, particularly when contact occurs on the dorsal foot.

Molten Sugar Burn to the Dorsal Foot: A Case Highlighting Unique Thermal and Adhesive Injury Mechanisms
