Description

Library administrators need to be able to demonstrate their department’s impact and value. An initial step in this assessment process is conducting space and usage studies. Rowan University Campbell Library’s study has helped influence decisions that impacted building renovations and services and began quantitatively demonstrating the library’s value.

Dr. Susan Fink is the Director for Technical Services, Facilities and Business Administration at Rowan University Libraries. She came to Rowan in 2013 as the Assistant Director for Library Business Administration. Prior to Rowan, Dr. Fink was the Coordinator of Library Administration at Drake University in Iowa. Susan has over 23 years of academic library experience and over 20 years of adjunct teaching experience. Her education background includes a Masters of Business Administration and a Doctorate of Educational Leadership. Some of her more recent research interest: library usage studies/assessment, library renovations and library safety/security.
