Description
The Attorney General guidelines provide multidisciplinary services to a victim centered approach to providing services to survivors of sexual assault. Topics include safety, respecting the integrity, choices and autonomy of victims, protecting victims’ privacy and confidential information, and garnering victim feedback to improve services. Uniform services to sexual assault victims statewide including timely medical forensic exams and the Sexual Assault Response Team services will be reviewed. An overview of law enforcement and role of the Forensic Nurse including SAFE kit, Tox kit, HOLD kit will also be discussed.
